i enjoyed this year's chinese new year! firstly cos Gracia was able to join us this year after 3 years without her around. secondly, i celebrated with church pple too! esp YA pple:) yesterday was at jenny's house and today was spent at pastor's house-super crowded and we sang karaoke, played mahjong (i hu twice!!!aaron is my lucky star and good consultant..haha!!) crapped and played cards(entertaining ourselves in zc's house because he was busy with his other 2 guests)...tsktsk! anyway this is the first time i celebrated with pastor and network pple! so happy today:) if only the kenny and kenneth could stay longer (if jed and mark could come it'll be better too! we all miss mark..)

i wish i hadn't found out somethings abt a friend which changed my view of this friend, pple are always not who they seem to be. but i thank God for letting me be aware of the truth, friends we'll stay forever, but nothing more haha...

one 'tree' has 'died' but another has appeared:) if only this new 'tree' dresses better..haha!!hope all goes well and may i always guard myself for God.

hehheh, finally went to Makansutra Glutton's Bay at the esplanade for dinner with Steph and Feli, Mr Sociable a.k.a. zhenchang joined us. we all had fun, with the sudden lameness....haha, i missed the girls, we're all so busy to meet up often so i really apreciate every outing we have. Thank goodness at least we make it a point to meet up for each of our birthdays:) i still remember we had crabs for every outing we had last year...haha!

anyway steph needs a haircut, so do i, but feli's hair is gorgeous! long and wavy with streaks of colours, she looks sexy,haha:)

and we did some funny tests online, those kind which tell u what type of guys u go for and stuff.haha, my type of guy is supposed to be religious, funny and steady. haha, feli and steph said it sounds like my dad (except that my dad's jokes are not funny). oh well, having reunion dinner tmr, hope everything turns out fine with mum and dad.

was with Jas at starbucks studying today(caramel frapp was yummy), had lunch at kfc opposite school with her bf rupen, we went a little crazy after hours of studying for Law B&F test, see here's the proof:

neeway, memoirs of a geisha was really enjoyable, though last minute there were so many changes..like pple not being able to make it for the show..blahblah... and the last part of the movie was so touching when it was kinda a happy ending..but zhenchang had to spoil it by talking rubbish. well well, too much soya bean milk!

and i forgot to buy a ticket for myself! stupid, and zc brought his friend orange, pity didn't really talk to her much, her orange hair's cool though:) oh, thanks to the rest for coming although it;s really late (lijuan, jenny, diana,youyi, felicia)...

looking forward to meeting felilee and steph, happy belated birthday steph! finally can check out the balcony at heeren's..yippee!

didn't manage to have lunch together after SOL cos the guys went off early, its so not fair!why do they finish PE so quickly?! anyway we sat together at service, kind of...Brisbane City Church performed but i didn't really enjoy their style of music, they were good though, Dave's voice was really deep and sounded excellent, too bad not my kind of music. it was pouring today!work was slack and i had the "award-winning" tiramisu after dinner(thanks Edwin!) and got to chat real long with Kia and Mark. i sucked at pool today, cos the guys tried to scare us by doing disappearing acts and suddenly switching off all the lights while we were playing pool, and yes i got scared cos i'm afraid of the dark, haha...i got too scared to hold the stick properly:(

that's Kia, the manager/head chef/dunno what else, he's italian i think-haha, nice too, although sometimes he looks really serious which scares me a little..

ah, that's mark the pervert, he tried to grab my thigh(just trying to be funny) and spat mandarin orange seeds at me, and made me peach coolers, haha. say, doesn't he look like the were-rabbit from that Gromace movie? anyway he's quitting on tuesday..haha

ok, tuesday: Memoirs of Geisha then go to the Beacon to throw a farewell party for mark, Wednesday: celebrate Steph's birthday with felilee at esplanade's glutton's bay then head for either MOS or Zouk:) anyone wants to come? its ladies nite so girls get in free:)

my first time to MOS was amazing:), unlike my first to the old zouk:( especially loved smoove (R&B) and the main arena where trance was so nice. anyway queue was long but moved so fast, and gracia got in with sylvia's ic, way cool man...went with zhengchang, gracia,, joyce and her friend - kelvin?...its been a long time since i had so much fun clubbing. well, here's some photos we took;)

had my first enrichment class with CHIJ(oglc) p6 girls,the girls were a fun bunch and i got my first taste of "teaching" primary school kids as a class.i almost lost my voice trying to get them to settle down and listen.had a qlich-some girls detached themselves from the program and i didn't know how to handle(they didn't sit on the ground with the others; refused to act out the skit as instructed..)i simply ignored them(bad,but no choice cos i'm on my own!).haha, thank God at the end they were attracted by my sweets and played the last activity:)

yea,work at Beacon's great-it rained earlier so was cooling.i almost dozed off while at work cos there was nobody for 2 hours until uncle kay came with clients..started moving around and feeling awake. had curry and rice for dinner, not bad except the potato's overbaked..haha and we played pool abt 10 plus til closing at 11.30pm,really had fun cos i was on a winning streak, i guess if i really concentrate on my shots, i CAN do it:) anyway i was a little shocked cos while playing pool Mark said he something like "Pam, I like u.." crap, i dunno what it means, whether he likes the way i was trashing him in pool or..u-know-what.anyway i was rather embarassed and simply ignored him.haha, that's the best thing to do yea, i think i'm getting pro at acting ignorant when necessary.

oh and Edwin told me his view on relationships(really interesting issues we talked abt during the conversation we had, inter alia), well, erm, he told me he was the kind of guys who would tell a girl that he liked her if he did. as in he wasn't those type who would later regret then say "damn, i should have told her i liked her" kind. haha, and i told him i was the exact opposite and i would even give up my feelings for a guy IF i knew of others who liked him, cos i'm afraid, and i have no idea what i'm afraid of, maybe 'rejection''s one of the fears. Edwin's really nice to talk crap to, i can tell him everything, even girls-talk cos he seems to understand girls rather well, haha anyway i got chided for not having the guts when it comes to relationships. oh well oh well....

and Kia told me something really wierd, maybe concerned, well i dunno, maybe cos of the fact that i'm related to uncle kay and if pple find out i might be treated differently and stuff. anyway he said to be careful, (very careful) when talking to pple around here cos in front of me they may be nice and say sweet things but turn around to stab me at the back...gosh!what a shock yea, it's just my 3rd day and i'm just earning my keep, but oh well, i appreciate the advice*ponderponder*

and yes, i missed corrinne's concert again! its sold out ONCE AGAIN, faints, wails, watever...and i can't sleep tonight cos gotta finish IP project and i just can't get myself away from MSN, its addictive to chat every night! so much to talk and crap abt:) God help me....

what a wasted day!rushed to school by taxi to hand up Arbitration project at 10am sharp,then planned to go for the teaching job briefing at Science Park. but crap!Stacey called us in the late afternoon and said that her boss was on MC so we needn't make our way down.Boy, why couldn't she have informed us early in the morning?!some pple are so irresponsible, now we're worried that this company may cheat us of our pay so, making use of our legal training, we're keeping smses and plan to make copies of timesheets and whatever agreements we have to sign with em. i think we're so smart:)

oh well, later in the night we went to have thai food near geylang, took a walk there (abt 300-4o0metres) and we ate snails (they call it zuk-zuk cos we gotta suck out the snail from its shell and the sounds sound like zuk-zuk) haha, anyway i call them the cheaper versions of escargot. Gracia was so sporting!she tried it despite finding it disgusting, we had so much fun "playing" with our food:)

then, we walked our way and sang praise and worship songs all the way home, Gracia and Sylvia's really good at harmonising (meaning they can do nice pitching to pei yin) i rather stick with the original melody or i'll get laughed at for harmonising at the wrong pitch. oh yes, and Gracia gave me some really great tips on playing keyboard for praise and worship songs (i can read notes, she can't; she can play chords and improvise, i can play but cannot improvise nicely..well at least not yet) need more practise. we played lots of hillsongs and i accompanied Gracia on the guitar (only those with simple chords like D,G,A,Em,Am,F...),heehee i enjoyed every moment, thank God for musical talented family.

alrighty, they're chasing me to play games with em and I want to relax and enjoy b4 i go back to do school stuff tmr. and hopefully i can get up early to go jogging near the canal:)

i think i'm doing well:) the guys are treating me nice and i'm enjoying work(at least for now cos many of them are leaving!) oh i forgot to mention about Mark(our bartender) - he is the biggest pervert there (always thinking dirty in that kind of way)!typical crude and suibian kind of ah beng,and i think he looks like the rabbit in the "curse of the were-rabbit" movie.haha, well they're all nice to me, at least.

er hm,they said i have a nice body(bleah, they haven seen my fats anyway i super malu can only laugh my "hur hur" laugh and say thank u lor...) and mark said i got nice butt..faints, and i don't know how to handle when he says things to me like, "can i go home with u?"-i just think its very funny, so i simply laugh and ignore him. oh, he made peach-cooler for me again!yummy:) away from that, edwin's cool too. despite whatever "attitude" he has, its fun to talk to him cos he is entertained by my brutal honesty and calls me "evil but interesting"-oh i got a new friend to go drinking (not at pubs but at kopitiam) whenever we're bored.

yes, and the "do u have a boyfriend?" question always enter the conversation and my answer will always lead to the next:"have u ever had a boyfriend?" which makes them super excited, for God-knows-what! and they start asking me to rate them on a scale of 1-10 on whether they are boyfriend material for me..haha, had great fun today just crapping!

oh!and uncle kay came with aunt said yee,benny(my cousin), benny's wife and their baby boy(my nephew-another one on the mum's side) came.u see, he is one of the bosses but the pple dun really like him so i hear bad things about him and yet i'm not supposed to reveal our relationship. so today was wierd!i couldn't greet him "uncle kay" and we only had a short chat when i served them their desserts..haha, crap, hopefully can talk to him more about work stuff during CNY visiting:)

anyway to all who are rushing deadlines(including myself): have faith and pray for determination to hang on! u all can do it yea - Jia Jia Jia You!!! (time to start doing the stuff for arbitration project due tmr 10am-pray for me, haha)

whoa,my first day at work was a mixture of good and bad.

Bad: saw the chefs' attitudes - really like SH** lar, and all the food were out of stock and yet they didn't bother to highlight that earlier. then they were tired after a long day's work so they went to lie by the beach without informing Kia(the head chef-my "boss") and Kia got pissed i think. then when it was time to go home, the driver who was supposed to drive us home said he couldn't come cos van broke down...crap man! good thing Kia's friend gave me a lift:) oh, another bad thing was i heard some stuff about politics in the Bar which involved my uncle (cos he is one of the bosses and I was introduced by him) but he didn't want me to expose our relationship so i had to pretend, felt shitty...bah!

Good: tasted cabonara (which was thick and super super yummy! the taste is ... super super yummy lor..haha!); the award-winning Tiramisu (smooth and contains brandy - *slurps*); found a new friend whom I can click with almost immediately (Usha - indian-mexican..cool huh); drank my first Peach-cooler(a mixture of soda water & ice peach tea...just simply shiok!); one of the chef(Edwin) was quite "nice"(despite the things i hear about him which is quite true) and he said,"Pam, u're one funny girl.."(dunno what i did *_*, merely shaking the newly-opened sauce bottle to get chilli out mah...like that also funny meh, faints..then he used a wooden spoon with a long handle and poked it in, super barbaric) anyway he is supposed to be super attitude so glad he introduced himself first. and we could joke (by the way we as in me, usha and edwin, were talking about sex and the city and laughing alot, good start) oh, he also kept asking how i got my tan (which is absolutely natural cos I was born like that, really!) and whether I was chinese or not....(like how many times must i answer that!) haha...

oh, i get to play pool whenever ther are lesser customers or when we're free (which is like alllll the time!) haha, cos they dun have enuff uniforms at the moment, i get to work in my clothes as I am, cool right..haha

shall crap more on work in next time, at least no more crapping on seafood international agian and again...haha (right chris?) oh well, here's pictures of my baby nephew, Daren Soh! (UBA cute!)

yeah!wasn't moody today - wierd cos this week i predicted i would be moody due to school stress, and especially since today, i had to rush my essay for music dip cos the deadline 13th Jan 2006 and being the last minute person when it comes to work, i think i re-re-re-re-printed my essay until it was "acceptable"-was short of 200 words though, but i really could not sqeeze in any more ideas...now just gotta pray that God will allow the whole thing to go smoothly, and also on my part to work hard for the Viva Voce and practicum part.haha, if u dun know what i'm talking abt go to ABRSM webby:)

oh by the way, went to chinatown pagoda street to walk around and get into the CNY mood! was with my cuzzie Gracia (who recently arrived from Perth and will be staying for a month or so) and zhenchang too! (almost forgot abt him..haha) got a box of yummy white milky type of biscuit for only $2, drank young coconut for $1(but i got a not-so-young coconut so didn't get yummy tender coconut flesh)

that's Gracia and Pam at Chinatown.(u should hear that accent of her!whaahaha!)

oh and i found out the proper/correct way to pronounce zc's name, its Zhen1chang1 and NOT Zhen4chang1.well, just call him Zacheriah, an English name given by gracia and it's also our band name, way cool! haha

anyways, gotta go sleep early(try to, i mean) for Arbitration Test at 12pm tmr(u see i need to wake up earlier to do some last-minute-studying..). and really sorry i couldn't join the superband thingy, can't help it if some are pissed that i suddenly dropped out, but i did mention about my level of commitment, oh well, i tried.
