so paisay today - went to renew pdl at cdc (the counter lady say can renew at post office for second timers - chee, wasted 30 minutes just waiting lar) when it was my turn, i went to the centre counter - 2 temasek poly boys were at the counters next to me - one on the left and another on the right. i actually forgot that payment was to be made via nets or cashcard - but i only had cash on hand! so how? the counter-lady asked the guy on my right to help me pay using nets and i'll give him cash - thank God he's so nice! omg, i think i almost fainted with embarrassment lar. he even had to key in his pin twice cos he made a blunder the first time - i kept thanking him lar, and he kept smiling. then when i was done, i quickly hurried upstairs for my FTT etrial. thank God thank God! haha, think yenny might know them since they're holding tennis rackets and they're from TP! anw, BLESS them for helping me.
AND....
i can't wait for CHINESE NEW YEAR! that will be the time to go house to house to try all the different PINEAPPLE TARTS and see which is the best. haha!
the best ones taste a little buttery and kinda melt in your mouth. oooh, smooth:)

yes, its wake up call. again. i have to redo my 3rd semester, meaning no more old friends. or should i say, i have to make new friends. crap, this is like orientation all over again.i HATE ORIENTATION ok! ok, y im i in this state? i did study! but my understanding of the module was horrible. and application badly handled. i failed market research and it's not exactly my fault eh. ok its not right to blame others for this. BUT BUT BUT i was supposed to take a bridging course in marketing principles BEFORE i take introduction to MR BEFORE actually attempting MR. yes i found out today from the advisor's mouth himself. so, i'm really doing a module (my core) when i had absolutely NO basics in it. and sorry im no genius but i tried my best. tsk, no wonder all my classmates were saying they did it b4 and how easy blahblah. well, i did squeeze everything from the textbook as much as i culd. and i was a few points away to a PASS. crap, think the advisor from australia had this amazed look when he realised i had never taken marketing of any sort - and yet managed to almost pass. in his words, i was NO problem. but sadly its STILL a fail and i have to repeat.
and no, im not academically bad or anything. i mean, i did get a CREDIT in employment relations ok! and this was despite a bad grade in my essay. well, in fact it was a breeze studying it - i kinda Enjoyed it eh. hm, ER - mayb it tells me to go get a job in MOM - my lecturer wuld b sooo proud. and on the other hand, i studied in pain, literally, for HMT n MR. HMT was stupid, or mayb i was stupid on the day of the HMT paper. i gave the wrong theories for the wrong questions and yes i got my facts right, just wrote down for the wrong one. urgh. and so this year will b only 3 modules, just in case i can't handle. i will continue working - i want to, anyway.
anw juicy bits. the irritating GL during orientation who was yelling at us and acting all so high-and-mighty was also in the progress interview room. omg, and i heard he has been down tt path b4 - the repeat/da bao path. and erm.....he's here again? no wonder he had the "oh no im in deep shit" look when he came out.
and funny thing, while i was waiting for my turn (i was 30 minutes late btw oops) another guy went in and came out (he was 1 hour late). when he came out he described HIS interview with his friends outside the glass door in full details. i was leaning on the otherside of the glass door and they were actually referred to me as the STRIPE shoe girl. walao, theire volume not very low lor, plus the echo in the silence of the space outside, i heard every bit of HIS interview. they were comparing abt him being later than i was, and was allowed into the room. joker, i was pursing my lips to stifle out the grin when i kept hearing "the striped shoe that girl" several times.
lesson of the day, talk softly and discreetly. (unless u have a natural voice like sky's which actually has no difference of loud and soft) pple are actually listening. haha.
