yippee, i've 'graduated' from Korean Level 1! jean your certificate of participation is with me:) get ready for your 'tuition' with me on monday!

anyway just had supper with zhi xun and alan at old airport road hawker. after 10 weeks do we finally find out that Alan lives in siglap and we can hitch a ride from him after lessons! isn't that good news jean? can get home faster somehow now. ohoh! and i forgot to mention that his car is super huge, the 8-seater kind haha.

oh back to supper, had a feast to 'celebrate'. thank God I found nice classmates to click with :) the others either too ajuma or ajoo-shi, and even though alan is 33, he is very down-to-earth and like a big brother to us. very metrosexual but nice! he kept offering to pay for everything cos he says that he is earning a salary while i'm still considered a student so he should be the one paying, so big-kor kor right? i'm so glad we're still in the same class in level 2. but pai say lar, how can i leech on pple like that?! so i insisted on paying for drinks and chicken wings.

zhi xun on the other hand is an entertainer. for us and for himself - he likes to smile to himself which always makes jean and i laugh at him. he always has the ''hmm, i'm very happy with myself " kind of look. he works for the ministry and has a very sad life. although he is 24 he looks more like 34 and acts like one. haha, i found out that he doesn't go out alot, doesn't watch tv but likes playing PS and watching anime. faints, no wonder he lost the girl he was chasing to a korean guy during his exchange in Korea. haha. interesting fella nevertheless.

WELL, a pity jean had exams and had to miss today's lesson and makan session. nvm k jean dun sulk, alan planning to invite ms bae for dinner at a nice korean restaurant one day b4 we start level 2.. it'll be fun to have makan together again!

another $350 down for another 10 weeks of lessons! (never been this excited abt attending lessons haha)

feeling cranky today, maybe it was because had to wake up early for the cc thing. maybe i feel like there's no one i can really talk to/with. or maybe i just dun feel like saying anything. it's too much trouble. or it may just be the many problems that seem to be happening around me and somehow i get involved. or maybe as you get older, things get/seem complicated. it's never within our control is it? it seemed so long ago when i could be carefree like a child, and just enjoy being embraced by our Daddy up there. maybe that's why i adore the girls in school, such childlike joy that i kinda envy sometimes, no worldly worries, the never ending love they are so willing to receive and give.

ah, maybe i just need something a change somewhere in my life. guess it's just the holiday mood setting in, need to go run more to clear my mind.

and i think i still appreciate being left alone sometimes (or most of the time) and not having to take the effort to make conversations with anyone. but i guess that's not completely possible, one day i should just shut my phone and go somewhere no one can contact me, then i'll cycle down someplace and just chill. gosh this idea is so tempting, just to get away from it all. one day...

haha i apologise if i seem to be behaving wierd this week, just need to relax. i rather not think or talk abt anything at all. there's no big problems, just need to not think too much. like pastor said, we are too educated for our own good. why do we have to think so logically for everything? nah i'm not a thinker, more like a stoner. its just those days.

well well i guess when i'm settled with whatever i'm thinking then i think i'll be back to normal.
what's my normal self anyway?

no worries it's just one of those bad seasons i have to get over and done with.

i like pussycat dolls and hoegarden. yea.

last day of school was pleasant:) got free food from the my p3 music class having a party in the canteen. p6s were walking around to take photos and ask for our autographs on their pe shirts, pinafore etc. the funny thing is, I look at them and think: do i know u? hmm... then some of them go round hugging u. YOU imagine how huge these p6s are, majority are 1 head taller than I am. faints.

oh! the p6s vs teachers netball match was great:) guess who won? haha it was a smashing thrasing defeat: 14-7

and since it was the last day of school, we went to try out New Asia Bar at Swissotel. sadly, it was not as fun as we had expected, music went bad to worse and the drinks - boo. my vodka lime tasted worse than B.A.D - SO we headed for MOS instead. a friend got her admirer to get me in free:)drinks were so much better there, wasn't too crowded and we squeezed ourselves into the Cage. never had so much fun for a long time..lots of cute guys around wanting to dance! but we just wanted to have fun within ourselves. haha, poor guys.

anyway, wonder how's Butter Factory, anyone gone there yet?

it's almost the end of school term - it will be so in ... 2 days time! :)

the last week of school is simply great. cos i get paid to have fun and do nothing but sit in the office whole day til the bell rings at 1pm to chao! but of course, i do my bit here and there ok, not paid for NOTHING.

anyway, this whole week i've been occupying myself with the following activities:
Monday - P6 Basketball matches
Tuesday - P4 Captain's Ball matches
Wednesday - P5&6 IPW mini-funfair + folding origami (i found an origami book at home)
Thursday - netball match: P5 vs TEACHERS + P6 graduation Hi-tea
Friday - netball match: P6 vs TEACHERS + start of school Holidays!

heh, dun be envious k.

today's fun fair was quite interesting. Yin Ping (one of our YA girls) and her class were selling the hot favourite drink - FUSIAN drinks with toppings like lychee and pearls and chendol. only 80cents, then it went down to 2 for $1. and Rachel Chua (pastor seng lee's daughter) was selling cornflake cookies with honey - wha! i bought $3 worth and ate at least 25 cookies - yes it's sinful - i even had 2 cups of yogurt that some sponsor gave to the school (with 2 more cups in the fridge for tmr) - had to go bomb after ALL that. haha.

and yes, you must be thinking.. PAM can play netball MEH?! well...no, so far i've played only twice with the teachers at the kallang netball centre and it's physically tough ok...you end up dripping mad like a wet chicken after 2 hours of play(i'm just plain lazy lar.haha) and i keep getting the GD(? defender) position, think it means i have to defend GA(? attacker) and i can only run around within 2/3 of the court excluding the semi-circle. so confusing right? and of course travelling and 3 feet rules blah blah...

but don't worry, although i can't shoot/aim/vertically challenged (i'm the shortest, as usual again) and keep crossing boundaries i'm not supposed to, i SURE can pass and defend a'rite. just on Monday i played my 2nd game with my colleagues, it was shiong man, i was GD (as usual) and even though i was defending this GA who was one head taller and looked fierce, I managed to play quite a good game. but i kept getting confused with the rules and kept crossing the other team's side. they told me if there was a referee, I would have been sitted at the bench with red cards, at least i provided a good laugh.

oh and it was really a good game cos some scraped elbows, knees, sprained ankles (lightly) and MY toe and last 2 fingers on the left hurt, I think we really played an exciting game!

next practice: Monday 7.45pm-10pm ..anybody interested to come join us at the kallang netball centre?
