what an experience it was to learn how to babysit Daren. the most interesting part (or should i say disgusting) is when we changed his diapers. Babies' poo is not that stinky because their only intake is breast milk! oh well, i had a free workout too :/ carrying 6kg of human mass is no joke.. the result was: aching but toned arms and legs (i was doing squats while carrying him.haha). Anyway, i'm not complaining :) can't wait for my darling cutie to call me "Aunt Pam" - hmm, let's wait and see another 3 more months.

Today I went back to TP with Jasmine to swim - I like the environment in school because not many students and staff use the pool unless it's for CCA, eg. Canoe polo, water polo etc. It's so relaxing to rest by the pool and get a nice tan.

hmm..looking for jobs too..tuition assignments are just not enough to get by...hmm..hmmm..hmmmm....:(

my piano is sick! sobs...the piano tuner man came and we discovered that the pedal area was infested with millions of red ants!!! wails, my heart sank when he sprayed insecticide on it(i mean my piano, not the ants), but deep inside there was an evil voice,"die, die, die, yes!" - ah! i have a newfound hatred of ants - whether tiny or huge, white, black or red.. (no.1 place used to be taken up by cockroaches), makes me go almost-hysterical; it just disgusts me how orderly they are - imagine a line of ants "queuing" to attack that teeny-weeny piece of cuttlefish on the table, it erks me, totally.

sigh, i'm feel kinda bad that i'm broke and mum has to dig out another $120 for the servicing, better start saving up another $150 for the other kind of servicing to give my piano "power". the piano man says my padded keys (those that are inside the piano, not the external black and white ones) are worn out, so when they hit the strings there is no "power" in the produced sounds, and thus they need to be changed.

"hmm, no wonder i can't differentiate my dynamics properly, at least i know my ear drums are still in working condition." dots.

yew, enuff of creepy crawlies, i'm itching already!

**will be babysitting Daren this coming Wednesday, hmm..should i leave the cleaning-poo job to syl? heh heh, jk, i'm not that evil...

ps: I spelt his name with a double "r" previously, my bad, its D.A.R.E.N:)

i got sabo-ed to produce articles for LS blog regarding the recent G12 conference. so won't write much today (photos galore instead), need to save some brain juice for 2 articles, one each for the 1st two days of the conference. hmph..

anyway, chatting with zhenming tonight got me thinking..how nice if i can get love poems from my loved ones(that are well-written!), haha, wishful thinking again. but anyway we were analyzing poems too, fun!

xm: u must read more! if not u won't understand the poet's underlying meaning. (sounds like a reminder to myself as well, haha)

ok.pictures taken at Dinner at Shangri-la..I love my darling Darren boy:)

ain't Darren a sweetie:) i love his plumpy cheeks!!!haha

mum and me with Darren yawning, i finally got to carry him:)
(thanks xm for telling me i look amazing)

Shangri-la's toilets are the best places to take pictures:) - they dun stink either!

heh, i cannot pose for nuts! scared pple walk into the toilet then laugh at me.
*i think i look fat*

*oh well u know what i mean!*

cousin Lionel, he's about 2 weeks younger than me - always thinking of sports cars and Australian girls, haha. that's when he ORD la.

Dinner was top-grade today! loved the appetiser and pan-fried cod fish and white wine:) BUT i didn't feel comfortable with the hotel's policay of serving food on individual plates - still prefer the chinese tradition of having 10 pairs of chopsticks in the main dish at the same time, reminds me of lou hei haha. even the usual yum-seng was done so relunctantly (thanks to some ah peks there), think it's because the couple's circle of friends are high-flyers (all own huge and nice sports cars!) and they were happy with a simple "cheers!" - oh! even the vows were done so casually, their pastor read out and they followed (it's like repeating the sinner's prayer, haha).

Anyway if u read tonight's chinese newspaper carefully you will read about 30 sports cars (including a maroon-coloured Rolls Royce) on their way to pick up the bride at 8am this morning. I also just found out that the wedding dinner I attended was my cousin's and not an uncle. haha, super confused since I never met him, never saw him around during CNY visiting. but it's quite sweet la, they knew each other for 10 years - same class in sec school and same course in poly. hmm, for me, 2 years should be enough to get settled down, haha.

Played and cuddled BABY Darren! I adore my nephew to bits!! although he was super fidgity and carrying him made my arms so sore, I still loved carrying him in my arms!! he's super adorable and hugging him makes me so so happy:)

also talked to sophia (darren's mummy, my cousin) - learnt some stuff about breastfeeding when she was giving Darren his scheduled meal. she told me that you must REALLY want to have a baby otherwise it will end up as a burden to u, for example sophia and david cannot go on dates and dinners with friends because it is not convenient - so i offered to help babysit Darren since I have some time these few months. oh but they do love Darren so so much, in case u get mistaken..we also found out about their love story, they went out for 6 months before he proposed:) time is not all that matters, it seems. sophia said church guys are the best because even though they look may look toot, they are like "diamonds" - raw and uncut. oh well, God will give me the right one, one fine day. bleah*_*

this week has been the most fulfilling one so far, counting from my first day of holidays some time in February. Although I confess that I almost dozed off and stoned during the night sessions, the heart of a spiritual Mother and having to live out of our comfort zones had the greatest impact. Many times, I find it very difficult to play the role of a spiritual mother to the 2 new girls because i'm just unsure of what to do next. But I know that God wants me to move out of my comfort zone. I think the 2 days of conference helped them to feel more comfortable with us Girls - all the talking of crappy stuff, makan sessions...thank God for Viv who prayed for her and ministered to her today.

talking about coming out of our comfort zones, the roads in my neighbourhood are going to be changed - meaning there'll be barricades and roads will no longer be the straight and direct paths. THIS MEANS that buses will take longer to reach destination; I have to wake up earlier to get the early bus, meaning less sleep! faints, not to mention the more dust and noise and bumpy roads - i feel like i'm thrown side to side, thinking of it makes me feel sick already:(

the following week will be as hectic - sending emails to primary schools for relief teaching, piano lessons, music assignments, giving tuition to my 2 kids, chalet, BBQ, Pastor Benny Ho's seminar, YA, soccer, jamming with the guys again?

up next: Wedding dinner at Shangri-la tmr, photos will be up:)

me and my new specs, the cool-nerd-look is IN!
(eh..ignore the tak glam hair)

my phone is in final stage of phone-dementia, the screen display either cracks into millions of pieces or turns completely blue. "time to change phones" everyone tells me...yes, saving up (or rather trying to..) to get a N70 or N90, sigh sigh pretty phones are so pricey:( hopefully Jasmine gets me a phone from Rupen soon.. (oh, or if ANyone has an Extra phone

My rashes made me feel restless today, kept thinking of the itch the Whole day! haha, $27 spent for anti-inflammatory cream and some pills, hope it'll be gone before G12, if not i'll look like some monkey scratching away.

going to see Kenix (another hk actress) tmr at Fullerton at night:) dun laugh ok, this kind of kang tao not easy to find. oh, hope my ah Fung will come again, heh. (oh who hasn't seen my boyfriend photo i'll gladly show it to u, haha)

ok, time for ointment and pills, pray for quick healing, and a fun time at the treasure hunt tmr:)

Friday (yesterday): got my results - average C+, yes they suck and I'm kinda disappointed because I expected to get some Bs, guess my coursework pulled me down. Anyway, doesn't really matter cos my results throughout Poly have always been like that, I never really studied, its really a walk in the park, as someone said, heh. mummy has finally thought it through! she gave me a small monetary incentive and told me she was proud that I am a Diploma Graduate (at least I didn't have to go back to school for Supps), heh, weird huh..a moment ago she was just nagging at me (again!) on why I didn't try for JC (3 years ago) when I could "make-it"...haha, then I realised it's because her friend's sons (2 of them) didn't manage to graduate (either they got kicked out or have to stay back for another semester), that she finally realised that there was no point regretting my choice to go to Poly. oh, she is even thinking of a "reward" to give me on the basis that I've completed my studies, and is even looking forward to my graduation ceremony, sometime in June i guess.

DG at Karen's house was really good. a little too much for my first time, but I know I felt how everyone was feeling, oh..and the food Karen's mum prepared was ...whew! fab:) Now is the time to put in extra effort on my own part, I am looking forward to the teachings that I will learn from Pastors (as proven from my 1st meeting) haha..

oh! work is quite shiok. i'm paid $7/hour to do the following:
-wait for instructions (most of the time)
-sorting and stapling of worksheets (2 hours)
-drink bottles of NEWater
-accompany kids to the NEWater plant at Changi (to-and-fro)
-pack goodie bags (extra bring home)
-eat and hang around East Coast
-free sun tan (arms only)

and i end up with rash on my right lower arm but found a nice shop in Middle Road (Sunshine Plaza) which sells Muffins at Hotel standard. heh, worth it huh...hope I get more of such jobs soon, all the resumes i sent out for temp jobs are not helpful:(

.........................................................................................................................................................................

Jamming at Magic box was really fun! I feel more comfortable playing in a band (cos the guitars and drums drown my horrible playing), haha, but still I had fun! the guys were nice enough to pick us up, Clarence was chosen to take the bus so that the taxi could take Syl and I(a little silly but they said its to show their manhood!)..haha, thank God he managed to get a free ride with jed, kenny they all..

alright, more than enough updates, can't wait for another session at magic box soon:) Syl going for camp tmr.the room is ALL mine!hehhehheh.

Yeah!I will take courses from believer's music when my diploma is completed in May 2006. Finally talked it through with mum and dad to pay for my supplementary keyboard course. I Want to learnt the proper techniques, cos even though I do know my chords, I don't know how to express them in a more musical way..oh, Jean I can apply for the next term, now it's up to u!

SOL2 finishes in 3 weeks (i think!)..i'm glad to say that I've learnt so many useful pointers but also looking forward to waking up later for service. hehheh..(welcome the come-back of my "beauty sleep")..Winnie's suggestion of meeting earlier for a time to chit-chat and for her to practise guitar is good, hmm...shall arrange for that when SOL is completed by April.

oh, getting my new passport tmr:) no more of that disgusting photo, heh, shall take pictures to show you the nice refreshing difference and upload tmr..also, made new specs ($130). A little silly cos I put on contact lenses most of the time, but, oh well..with the case of eye infections going around, I better have specs to play safe..anyway i think my new specs look really cool:)

ok, i'll start looking at maps to try to plan the route for the night cycling, I wonder why the guys aren't doing anything..hmm..guys: BE A MAN, DO THE RIGHT THING!

the focus is the Ball, not the people. haha, talking nonsense la..the guys came down to Mountbatten CC to play soccer. now YA has guys!zc,andrew, boon bing and kenny - all full of potential, you have no idea how much the kids cling to them (little boys i mean...) oh, i played a little soccer too, but like I said, i'm better off watching than playing cos i can't play for Nuts! haha, and I was wearing my papilios, if not I would have kicked at the guys to try grabbing the balls from em... oooh! we've got a new addition to the YA family:) Flavian *claps and cheers* he willingly volunteered to take charge of games next week (erm cos he said our games are boring), heh, he followed the good examples of his big brothers Kenny and ZC, well done guys!

oh, talked with Pastor a little too, it's really amazing how he manages to find out about everyone in the network, heh heh, you can't run or hide...Someone is always watching...heh heh heh..

hopefully I'll get the ticketing job - it's a some jetboating thing that's going to be set up in Singapore soon by 2 Aussie guys - at the interview today, they were really cool and suave dudes, it'll definitely be great to work with em:)

now i'm just waiting for someone to plan the overnight cycling thing...hmm...

heh, played pool with Zhifeng @ Marine Parade, managed to pull Jean along (it was a fair exchange: she join us and I would join her for bible study @ New Creation)... even though I was playing badly today, another attack of headaches..sigh, but Jean was up to her nonsense cos she kept saying,"I think you need help," then try to "help" us by hitting the balls on the table. think she was trying to help me more by offering to "help" ZF..*I noticed those sly looks...* anyway, an egg prata and teh peng made me feel better.

oh, pastor prince was talking about us being royal priests - his jokes are always so funny, and best of all they are impromptu, it just comes out of his "spirit" or so he claims. He says our heavenly Father can be humourous too you know, well that's why He made u! heh:)

ok, found job as event coordinators for some Sony event next friday and saturday:) finally I get some responses after the mass sending of resumes and calls..haha. oh well, tmr's another interview for a ticket-seller for a Tourism Board company..*fingers crossed* hope I get the job if the terms are good:)

i totally adore Mark Ruffalo! the 1st time was in 13-going-on-30; then just-like-heaven; and now Rumour-has-it. He always plays the sweet-and-mr-nice-guy roles...aw, he is soooo cute! heh...what left the great impression is not about that Mr. BB who slept with Jennifer Aniston's character's Grandma, Mum and Jen's character herself; it's really about the last part when Mark Ruffalo says that 'engagement' means alot to him - it is not just a word, or something to be used as a testing ground to see if there are other people you like outside the relationship, it's simply about falling in love with the person you are engaged with to prepare for marriage and spend their lives together, forever...*sighsighsigh*

oh, there was a scene when he walked away from Sarah (Jen's character) and he was dressed in black shirt and jeans (untucked), really looked like Livingstone's resident "uncle" from the back...Haha, trying to stifle my giggles in the theater halfway through...

still prefer Just like Heaven anytime:)

oh, suddenly recalled that I promised Jean to do her weird game, so here goes:
Rule 1: List 5 weird or random things about myself
1) I sleep with 2 pillows under my head, 2 pillows on my left and hug a huge bolster 3/4 my length.(wierd?)
2) I used to be allergic to alcohol - my arms would swell and hot flushes of red would appear, until I took an anti-allergy pill.(sounds freaky yeah)
3) I like watching TVB hk serials and adore Raymond Lam Fung, my "boyfriend".(and i have the pictures to prove so..heh)
4) I have mood swings.
5) I am short.

Rule 2: List 5 ppl whom u want to do the quiz.
Rule 3: Next, leave a comment "you are tagged" on their blog and ask them to read your blog for rules.

hm..dun think i'll continue with the other rules, sorry jean! so silly..haha, but if anyone who reads this wants to do it feel free:) I sure would like to see if u're any weirder than I am.

tmr: interview for some 2-day temp job, walk-walk in Bugis Street with Sylvia, pool with Zhifeng, think I need to practise piano too:)

Haha, i feel rather "useless" (sounds like vagrant?wahahah), now that exams are over. trying to look for temp jobs while continuing to give tuition... anyone got kang tao, at least $6 per hour and not too long hours? heh heh, need to save for the trip to Bangkok in April (hopefully, after the Thai elections the prices for the packaged will go down..hehe cheapo Pam talking here!)

spent the week applying for new passport (was torn by my sister who thought it was a drawing block) - the customer service lady was funny (or so I thought).
"Haha, your sister thought it was a drawing block hur...how old is she?"
me:-pause-"oh, my sister is 18, she is not normal you see."(my sister has epilepsy la, not infectious don't worry) and i smiled:)
"oh!i am so sorry..."
"oh it's ok la, haha"
then, she recommended a cheaper alternative to apply for a new passport which will save me $10.

and then, I packed my clothes (finally!)...they are everywhere! one wardrobe, 3 drawers full, 2 cabinets overfilling..whew, shall start putting up those that I don't want, to sell online in yahoo auctions..heh heh...the cheapo-ness is at work again...ah!!!!!

oh who wants to watch movies with me? i'm thinking of 1)rumour has it; 2)Munich...

hm...need to pray for the headaches to go...they come when exams are over:(
