i just found out something abt myself today: I detest ungentlemanly guys.

had cab home after work today - this cabby uncle was like super rushed and irritated. so when i before i could finish upper serangoon view (he said HUH damn loud), i thought it would be easier to say hougang ave 7 since its just a road behind my house.

when we were nearing, i told him to turn right ahead. then he said showed a finger to the passenger beside him (obviously refering to me and i was soo pissed lar. it was quite rude!) he then said next time to tell him the exact address NEXT TIME. like what the heck, u HUH-ed me damn loud earlier on like u dun know what im talking abt, then next moment u want the full details.

its not like he is capable of handling more information than he is ABLE to right? like duh. but i didn't want to cause more unhappiness, i told him to stop me at the side and i walked back home instead of making him turn in one round.

the NICE auntie who knew the taxi uncles who fetched us back usually turned all the way into my house, she was like AIYO, u sure anot. be careful hor.

ok, i was still feeling pissed when i walked along the road to my house. so....i starting tearing nonstop til i reached the lift all the way to my bedroom. crap,i dunno why also la. mayb its a good way cos that's my way of releasing anger and watever that's no good to be kept inside. it was definitely not PMS.

then i kept thinking, if i was a boy i would have scolded him straight in the face right? but i felt so vulnerable at that moment - is this a girl thing? omg, this kinda biasness sucks big time. makes me feel super weak and helpless lar. urghs. i never want to take that taxi again. i mean, even if u have zero education and etiquette, u can be nicer than THAT right? u are a MAN for goodness gracious! act like one lar. yeeks. super disgusted with such ungentle manliness.

for example, my guy colleagues will do little things that really show how gentlemanly they are. like saying thank u when i do something for them, getting my meals packeted for me, giving me a treat occasionally (my brother nic), and of course sunny boy always carries my bag while i'm pulling the shutters of the shop. he won't think: oh its not my bag what. or her bag's too heavy.or when pam's done she can walk in and get it herself.

LIKE DUH. basic courtesy counts! i do appreciate such nice things ok - shucks. thinking again i feel like im getting super sensitive these days. must really be getting older :(

sigh, and bianbian told me i seemed to have put on weight. like...thanks huh. i retorted that mine were muscle mass whahaha!

ok, i just had to get this out! now i feel better. this is the reason of having blogs, when u dun feel like u can share directly to others. whew! i'm feeling much better already ok time to zzzz:)

back from 144 retreat sofitel. Pastor Julie spoke to us about leaving Egypt and getting the Egypt out of us, really inspiring - God's answer to me was to just cross the red sea and stop tuu-ing (wasting time complaining blahblah)

the room was great - aircon was cold and just the way i liked it. the pillows - wah shiok lar. soft yet firm and sooo comfy. sadly the food just cannot make it - the pasta sauce for one meal smelt and tasted BURNT. then at the next meal there was lasagne - the exact smell and taste. omg, my group pple says its the sauce they use. yucks lar.

oh we had a passover feast too! its amazing how God intended the feast to tell His children about Jesus' love for them through the symbolic use of wine/unleavened bread etc. The feast started way before Jesus' death on the cross, so it just shows how real God is! everything was indeed planned from the beginning. sadly, may Jewish families go through the passover feast as a ritual without understanding the meaning of it. my take from the feast - i understood every clearly God's love and forgiveness for me.

oh yes! and i made new friends from group 11. really had nice group members - we spent time talking and talking over meals - had a good time with them. and pastor roland and laifun took good care of us too. pastor roland esp, was so chummy with quan wei - they totaly entertained us! haha

OK so its back to work.BUT i want to go on a trip! if it works out, i may be going taipei with some of my g12 brothers and sisters. sunny boy just came back from taipei and he says its nice there! he's refering to the pretty girls there lar, but of course the food and scenery is good too! haha, i've never gone there anyway, can think about it. also thinking of going korea to join jean - end august like that. but really expensive! OR to go to perth to visit my cousins, like finally. cos ben's having his wedding in singapore july 5, i may crash the wedding over in perth in july 18. going alone sounds fine - i just have to pay for air ticket and shopping/buying stuff - food and accomodation would be more or less covered by my aunt and uncle!

ok, ironman is worth watching. its the second movie i really like after transformers. yes, del and i kept laughing at that stupid moment, it was worth it! anw, thanks SKY for the movie birthday treat. i'll love to watch it again if anyone wants to! haha:)

today marketing research paper (last one) was bad. i completely lost 10 marks because i had no idea what the question was asking. didn't i study enough? urgh, plus the 10 marks i lost for not handing up the tutorials, i really do hope the test and project marks will help me to MAKE IT! repeating this again would just send me throwing myself against the wall.

NVM, i am officially free from exam burdens, at least for now :) and i will go full swing into holiday mood! means shopping, back to dance, work and anything!

went ktv and dinner with mingyan, sili and ziyi (my bro too!). they tried to b funny during dinner and gave me money when it was time to pay the bill. i had already counted my share and put the money on the table. haha, anw thanks guy/girls, really appreciated! and we took many photos, tiring sia, i'm not exactly that kind of a photo-whore. haha.

OH and i finally got the sony ericsson W890i that i wanted. initially dad only agreed to get my original k800i because it was $0 for upgrade signup. better than nothing and since its a birthday gift, i was like ok lor. then amazingly, GOD gave me what i wished for. i really really wanted w890i lor. ok, so dad went down to m1 today and realised his plan was a high value plan so he was entitled to a $200 discount on phone plans. so he just had to top up $98 to get me a brand new SE w890i! ooh thanks dad!

got a card from chris today too! she rmbers to send me a birthday greeting from the faraway land via AIRMAIL. super touched!

going to station kitchen at st james for dinner and shopping for my new earphones (sylvia's gift to me for birthday) coming wed at vivocity.

this year's really a very very nice birthday indeed. thanks again and again too everyone who's remembered! love u all:):):)

went to dian xiao er to eat - and watched korean movie sex is power 2 - R21 - we practically threw our ic at the counter guy for checking - oops - its a love comedy and got love story behind it. not rubbish so its okay lar:) the disgusting thing was when they stuffed the lollipop in his butt. haha - thanks for the forever 21 jumper dress! so cute:) i really feel like 12! haha

from the girls - amanda, far, stella and jiawen

miss these girls, thanks for the nice and huge bag from warehouse! so ME - i lurrve big bags despite ivy saying that pple who carry big bags are insecure - NOT TRUE. i just like them! heh:)

from dg: they sang birthday song and gave me a hans blackforest cake to cut (yummy) and a nice card! and all the prayers - im so touched, thank God for my spiritual family:)

from dad: a 250gb hard disk to keep all my hk/korean shows! okay, he wants to watch them too. but at least i get something i want!

think he's getting me a phone soon too! yippee:)

from mum: we watched the forbidden kingdom - lame show but had a few laughs too - treated me to lunch today - and bought me a topshop green top and a simple silver necklace.

later meeting jieting, jean, woan ting, and jiun pey to celebrate birthday too! jiun pey's may baby too :)

i did the whole content for the website - the part time "office" job i was helping mr anan with :)

going to continue with this when exams end and until school starts:)

must Thank God for this opportunity - rather good pay, comfortable working environment, and the boss offered to write out referral letters when i need them. so nice:)

GOD i pray this seminar will be a success and i will learn lots!
