oops, supposed to wake up early to study since there were no classes on today. but ended up waking up at 12noon! sigh.
then pops supposed to have lunch with me but pangsayed me to meet mum at katong. cheez.
so i gave in and went to meet syl and crystal for shopping. should have joined them for lunch at pepperlunch la! ended up eating instant noodles. yew.
we went to forever21, esprit, topshop, g2000 women. bought a black dress from esprit, 1 white semi formal, short sleeved green jacket, 1 formal work pants and 1 formal work skirt. see, it's necessary to buy cos ONE day i'll need to go work and g2000 got big sale, plus the 10% flyer we got from crystal... super elated can.
esprit: $50 but i got the last of my birthday vouchers to pay for it so..... FREE!
g2000 women: 190 after all the discounts it's only $114!
woohoo~
oh we had coffee at breaktalk too. they took out their hot choco! boo hoo, but i got a latte mocha anyway and one garlic bread. gosh, they changed the garlic bread from baguette to thick slice. at least they didn't change the taste. I love breadtalk's garlic bread cos it's sweet:):)
yummy yummy. think will go and buy again tmr.

omg omg, the seventh final installment of the Harry Potter series has finally ended! really good read, can understand the fuss of it. whew! finished it in 2 days running here and there, sneaking readings on bus rides and while waiting for the bus. haha, feel a little overwhelmed by the book but really glad the ending turned out so sweet. like i said, love will save the day. it saved them all. aw.
hope the next harry potter movie will not be a flop as the recent one was. change director! we want clearer details and more plot in the movie - the time does not matter. it has to be quality!!
whew. back to books. thanks Kenny for lending me your microecons book. NO i will not buy your book, it's in a very sad condition that maybe has a re-re-sale price of.... $10? haha, thanks anyway! will return end of the year :)

yes yes i promised there'll be a housewarming for sure! be prepared for bbq and swimming party. the whole place looks as if it's a water park. haha, anyway, yes i would love to explore the great food in hougang, or so many of the Hougang-ers claim. mickey! we can make yeow yeow come over. *evil wink* and of cos, i forgot feli's moving to hougang too! or did she even tell me? haha, thought she was moving to Yishun or something...hai. nvm steph, there's a bus service from your good ole tampines to hougang! and i realised hougang isn't any nearer to clementi but...oh well, hougang mall better make up for whatever la.
and so, it's really time to get started on packing! i have to find old boxes to put my stuff and throw away/give away lots. PS if anyone has big nice cardboard boxes give/lend me pls? I really need proper boxes for packing, not those used to sleep on the streets ok.
anyway, will be starting driving lessons soon. finding the best and cheapest instructor and nope, i DO NOT have the funds but will be borrowing from my mum lar. my attempt to convince her to pay for lessons went like this:
me: ma, can u pay for my driving lessons?
mum: no no, you want you pay.
me: but i'm not working leh, anyway this is necessary. next time u'll def need me to drive u around.
mum: i can drive what.
me: ya, that was yons ago and your license expired years ago TOO. even if u get refreshers also cmi (cannot make it).
mum: who says so.
me: really what, last time u drive we all could see. the moment u're in driver's seat u start getting gan chiong and all lor. u drive i also scared. i drive safer la.
mum: *silence* *ignores me*
can i say my mum's TERSE? tsk
dots. then next evening after i'm back late, she calls me to her room saying,"Pam, don't get angry if I don't pay for your driving lessons. You must feel responsible for yourself." Sure, I paid for my korean lessonsright? wait one day I disappear to Korea then... me:"ya i know what, who's paying for my korean classes?" mum:"good! u can borrow money though. ZERO % interest"
pro right? she won't pay but she'll lend. and telling me not to get angry. i wanted to laugh man. i must have perfected the bo-chap sian look that she thought i was unsatisfied.,well, the fact i asked her for Help and not getting any, the natural response would be to think to myself "sian" and obviously give the sian look right? then backlash at her meh? siao. waste of energy and i wouldn't want to start any substitute of world war. syl laughed when she heard that.
haha oh well, hopefully start in august, i would really love to start driving:) i'm sure i'll get the GOOD genes from my dad and be a heck of a driver. hm..wish me luck, or rather, the road users.

omg, my mum is seriously serious!! FAINTS. one day she asks us about what we think of the idea of staying in hougang... and next DAY she paid for the place at Rio Vista at upper serangoon view already lar! OK LOR, her money she decide la, still ask us 'How? what u think?" at least she got a nice one, not some shabby changi one or "ddddirty" geylang one. haha, HER own words by the way.
getting keys in november, most prob moving end of this year. sigh, so sad leh...i will miss old airport road. come on, i'm a true blue EASTerner la! cheez. mum wants peace and quiet and new school environment so....i'm just sad to leave old airport road with its convenience of buses and trains! true, rio vista is quite a modern beauty. with its sleek gym facilities and huge pool with no fears of drowning, its like living in a holiday resort. i can even have bbq and pool parties at my place. and true, it might be nearer to school a little bit. BUT i wonder, where's my piano going to be?!?! $8000 and my only real asset leh! the other asset (hp) GONE ma....UNLESS she sells it 2nd hand and gets me a pro yamaha keyboard to replace it.. HAHA, nvm she can have piano problem..SHE bought the house what. haha. and OH! my books in the room...HOW! sigh any idea how to reduce my stuff from 4 boxes to....maybe 1 box? i have too much stuff, NOT junk i repeat, my mum has the idea of dumping it cos she always says i take up too much space with my "junk". tsk tsk tsk. pot calling kettle black. and she says the property is used for her retirement. che, got money should help me pay for korean classes ma...only 2 more levels to go, meaning another $800 the most, also tell me NO straight in the face. think i so thick skin to ask meh, if i was working and had the dough, i would have paid for myself like i did for the 4 levels la!

sigh, now still want to cut my pocket money. sigh sigh, seems like must find another tuition job la. if i want to learn other forms of education like guitar or drums or watever, it all has to come out from my own pocket. seems like korea next year got problem also. haiya, leave it to God regarding finance la! My God will bless me abundantly with riches and glory! GOD i pray for checks in the mail! AMEN! :):):)
ps: my mum's favourite part of the house is the see through glass windows BCOS it oversees the canal (she calls it a waterspot HA) and bcos there are no OPPOSITE neighbours to peep at US...not like our hdb flat. anyway, she's got her queer moments la. haLabels: q

it happened again. how many times miscommunication always causes unhappiness, disappointment? it was something i was looking forward to and yet, i was disappointed. and the point is, when u've disppointed someone, trying to make it up doesn't help. it's not like pleasing parents with results. i don't want to be a part of something i was left out on purpose. its not like a fun game. it doesn't make anything better. asking if being left out feels ok doesn't help too. come on la, how would YOU feel?dun even say girls are like that one lar. i know, i'm not as good, if that makes me 2nd class then say earlier la. i hate last minute changes. so, makes me think again, can u trust pple? it's a situational thing, in fact the pple u trust are the ones who hurt u back when u least expect it, right? it's true, wherever u go, it's the real world. u're not careful, u're in for it. like a friend who once said, there are pple who are fun to be with but are not dependable. relationships are formed when u spend quality time together. do u get a best friend just by knowing them for 5 minutes? u get closer when u share secrets with each other. that's why when u get to know pple who seem to be closed up, u can't really blame them for being "hardhearted" right? it's a cause and effect thing.
mum's been talking abt moving to hougang. mad. she thinks she'll teach there and thinks it's near to clementi. hello, i'm in sim for 2 years only. and i dun hang out in school everyday! wonder who gave her the idea, been trying to recall if she has any hougang friends. i'm staying put in old airport rd. its super duper convenient. wait til circle line gets started!!
played pool with xuen and labond today. come to think of it, i got to know quite a few friends thru zf, haha..they talk abt random stuff, i like! yesterday tertiary fling was a bore but peter was super random, talk abt going to the zoo at 4am, then today we had dinner at mos (milk tea rocks). some kong hwa kid was making wierd noises, xuen remarked that the mother fed the kid with beer, thus the noises. then we linked the kid to our zoo joke yesterday and had a good laugh ha!my stomach still hurts from the laugh... the super random things are the highlights of the day for me, i love random-ness haha. they'll teach me risk and poker soon too. yippee!

omg, my blog entry landed on sunday ri bao. abt fann wong and christopher lee. they used my entry and photo to dispute rumours of them breaking up. was quite a shock, no wonder the photo looked so familiar.. dots. still asking where they got that from. anyway, told ben abt it. i miss charcoal food. shall go back to eat and tell them abt it. haha:)
100k campaign has begun:):):) anyone needs a prayer/blessing/need to be felt? church is having a 100k campaign in which we pray for anyone who needs a prayer. (it's to bless pple around in tune of the coming National Day!) Just ask and you shall receive! dun worry, no strings attached and no one is going to bug u to come to church. haiyo, why is no one talking to me on msn?! i'm a rare visitor and yet everyone seems occupied with something else. tsk, still scold me for not going online enuff. well, think i really do need to come online more and talk more...otherwise school pple will be chatting lots and i'm still blur. like i was talking with andrew, sky and syl, think i'm not talking in school as much as i hoped to cos i'm very conscious of what pple will think if i open my mouth, really dunno what's a good thing to say. aiya, u never know what kinda impression pple will form of u la.
anw, think will join dance and seasports.CF falls on wed which is the same day as all other leaders; meetings. so i guess, can't join that lar, though i really hope to know the fellow christians in school. and see if they're nice pple....well well, hope they keep me updated abt their activites. and hopefully i can join them one day.
and yes, i lost my phone and my pencil case. cannot contact me for the moment except for some prepaid card i got - which is for me to contact pple if i do need. i miss my phone, but surprisingly, not upset abt the phone. more of chiding myself for being so careless! urgh. why so gong leh. no cutie in lecture also can do stupid things. also, after 3 lectures, i'm still blur abt ER. thank god dr malcom's done with his lecture with us. didnt really learn much from him, must be the style and accent. not used to it. the tb is soooo much easier to understand. really should start studying really hard already. i want to go melbourne for my exchange too! everyone's going..
ok, hopefully can run tmr. fat already, really. so super unfit, i dun want to peng san halfway thru 10km. gettin old too. its lifts and escalators, stairs are #1 to avoid. plus 2 suppers in a row! cut down pam, cut down! ha

ok i'm transformed. what i tot would be a guys movie turned out so good i love it! may even watch it again this evening with the others. the plot is good and the 'robots' are super cute! haha, it's a must-watch movie in the cinemas, doesn't work as well watching on dvd or downloaded.
anyway, gym-ed with jean and zf today. feel good running again. sigh, always feel good running but dun have the determination to do it on a regular basis. but really good to see that even jean starts going to gym! they say i look fit but really didn't do anything lar. except for playing around i really didn't exercise to 'keep fit' . oh, quit station kitchen. need to concentrate on studies and really tired of working there too. but pple there have really been nice to me, well not all but most of them:):) went to eat there today after ocean's 13 and they gave me free drinks and 20% that i only paid $20 plus. well, when i return uniform should get them something nice to thank them.
alright, think should go more regularly and start training for mizuno otherwise i'll just die running halfway.
