ok, so Singapore has won the bid for youth olympics in 2010. that's nice.

wat's nicer is the spirit of the youths in support of bidding for it.

TODAY was driving lesson. we (instructor mr ng and i) were driving along Bedok when we saw a school of students sitting along a 2-lane road. as i was turning right into the lane, the WHOLE line of secondary school kids (with their teachers) started standing up and cheering (imagine Kallang Wave during soccer games) and waving posters that stated: HONK for Singapore Youth Olympics. TOTALLY funny lar. i almost panicked and almost did emergency stop. heng.

SO! i honked for them lar. imagine the JOY and SMILES on their faces when i honked. mr ng was happily waving to them. he even gently chided me for honking - see, in traffic police rules, honking is ONLY for warning pple of danger and not for FUN. in my case, the purpose of honking is pretty clear. haha. BUT he still cheekily asked if i wanted to go through on more round of that. madness.

ANW, mr ng says he can try to help me push TP date from 25th June to an earlier date in late April/May. YEAH! means i might be able to fulfil my wish of passing before my birthday - well that's IF i pass haha. HURRAY! means i have to have more lessons to practice.

another funny thing mr ng said today - he said how artistes get endorsement deals so easily and earn so much money. and as for him...."我免费给他们拍，他们(the media)也不要." Corny.

VALENTINE's day was a happy dumping day!

yes, i dumped someone on valentine's day. its the 4:3 combo of failing theory tests. haha. yes, i disliked it sooo much that i started "humanising" to make it a "someone".

oh yeah, boy am i happy. i've never felt so happy on valentine's day - not that im unhappy because im date-less and valentine-less but really, its not much of a romantic day anyway - wat's with cards and balloons and flowers, its quite silly if u think abt it. haha. and i can date and valentine anybody i want as and when feel like.

mad, i am.

madder, is mr ah kwah. and so he's dyed his hair. i'll see sunday i tink, white/silver/that kinda shade. siao. dunno what's he thinking of anyway.

sunny boy called today! his first words were,"hello darling!" i think he's mad. or mayb having mood swing. happy dun talk/unfriendly/unsunny. HAPPY then anyhow call darling. siao.

but im happy anyway! cos ..........that means im given slots to work! whew. i was worrying abt money anw. really not enough cash:(
BUT he will confirm again, im feeling quite happy anyway.
see !i was jobless for almost 1 month and God answered immediately - was praying for work to do.

God is sufficient.

i asked for a sign - HE played around with the sequence of my 4 numbers.
God really does things in ways u never expected lar.

was just crossing the road when a car suddenly stopped at the traffic light - overshot red light so he reversed back slowly to his lane. i was crossing when it happened right in front of me. and there it was - the numbers i wanted but in the wrong sequence i had asked for - the letter at the end was "U" - omg. my heart skipped a beat - HE must be saying "Not yet!"

God is so cute:)

HAHA, ok, now that i've done my share of grumbling im happier. so i shall put up pics of yummy food and darling daren wearing my stylo blingbling billabong cap:):):):):)

the wonderful spread - just the beginning - didn't manage to take picture of the ducks and roasted meat, pumpkin yam paste and condensed milk, red wine:)

this is the best yu sheng - abalone strips, smoked salmon and the quantity of 2 sets of yusheng - just nice aunt jenny bought one too:)

mum made a simple "cold dish" thingy, top shell, prawns, abalone strips, scallops:) simple dish but yummy too!

and my dear nephew daren wearing my oversized (for him) bling bling billabong - soo cute.

Reunion dinner for the SOHS - great start for the lights out by 5 home by 6 for february.

watched xXx on tv again. i just enjoy action movies :)

sylvia inflicted pain on me. how horrible. she could still laugh at me for it lar - we were buying stuff at hougang mall - being her usual self she dropped ONE of the 2 can of topshell - and guess where it landed?

ON MY RIGHT LITTLE TOE!

and it was seriously hurt me - i stood there, grabbing tightly to my cabernet and chardonnay and just.. Teared. ok, i cried lar, but i was no sad, just in such pain i culdn't help crying. good ole sister could even say: "you must really be in pain to cry ah. sorry ah i know its painful, u just crying because its painful and not sad. right."

shocking huh. she could still laugh at me - the lady in front of us still "WAH!" so loud. BUT, i only cried in pain silently after holding back for hmm, 5 seconds? anyway, doesn't matter lar. NO body seemed to notice anyway, SINGAPOREANS. tsk

Pasta Fresca was yummy!

we went to interview mrs carecci of pasta fresca yesterday for our marketing project and got a fabulous lunch - im convinced! there IS a difference between pasta and spaghetti. u see, pasta has many kinds and spaghetti is a subset/falls under PASTA! whee, the 7 of us, including dear mrs carecci herself, we ate a total of abt $110 of food. yummy, we should go there again. the food is fresh and authentically Italian. she could go on talking - amazing!
