whoa,my first day at work was a mixture of good and bad.
Bad: saw the chefs' attitudes - really like SH** lar, and all the food were out of stock and yet they didn't bother to highlight that earlier. then they were tired after a long day's work so they went to lie by the beach without informing Kia(the head chef-my "boss") and Kia got pissed i think. then when it was time to go home, the driver who was supposed to drive us home said he couldn't come cos van broke down...crap man! good thing Kia's friend gave me a lift:) oh, another bad thing was i heard some stuff about politics in the Bar which involved my uncle (cos he is one of the bosses and I was introduced by him) but he didn't want me to expose our relationship so i had to pretend, felt shitty...bah!
Good: tasted cabonara (which was thick and super super yummy! the taste is ... super super yummy lor..haha!); the award-winning Tiramisu (smooth and contains brandy - *slurps*); found a new friend whom I can click with almost immediately (Usha - indian-mexican..cool huh); drank my first Peach-cooler(a mixture of soda water & ice peach tea...just simply shiok!); one of the chef(Edwin) was quite "nice"(despite the things i hear about him which is quite true) and he said,"Pam, u're one funny girl.."(dunno what i did *_*, merely shaking the newly-opened sauce bottle to get chilli out mah...like that also funny meh, faints..then he used a wooden spoon with a long handle and poked it in, super barbaric) anyway he is supposed to be super attitude so glad he introduced himself first. and we could joke (by the way we as in me, usha and edwin, were talking about sex and the city and laughing alot, good start) oh, he also kept asking how i got my tan (which is absolutely natural cos I was born like that, really!) and whether I was chinese or not....(like how many times must i answer that!) haha...
oh, i get to play pool whenever ther are lesser customers or when we're free (which is like alllll the time!) haha, cos they dun have enuff uniforms at the moment, i get to work in my clothes as I am, cool right..haha
shall crap more on work in next time, at least no more crapping on seafood international agian and again...haha (right chris?) oh well, here's pictures of my baby nephew, Daren Soh! (UBA cute!)
