you know what, NTU students have a kick in writing to forums. Yesterday a friend encouraged me to write in to forum to complain about my NIE application because she thought it was ridiculous that they didn't even give me any chance but kept giving the excuse that they had an "over-whelming intake" blah blah... i was laughing at the idea la, how troublesome it would be. having 2nd thoughts though haha.

Then just today, after my encounter with the airport police at the pass counter, my colleague also encouraged me to write in to forum about the "NS mentality". hmph, thinking about the trauma I went through just makes me pissed. these pple couldn't find my IC this morning when I went to exchange my pass with them, they insisted that it wasn't their fault and it was dunno what team B and since they are team E then it's nothing to do with them blah blah.

the NS mentality:
1)it's not my fault, it was another team.
2)blame anyone possible (in this case they tried to push the blame to me, i laughed into his face la)
3)the pass is from drawer A so if your IC is not in drawer A then don't have lor - followed by THE *blank look*
(such flexibility, impressive)

crap, then what am i supposed to do???

next, he made a few calls (action action only lar) then turned back to me to say that his colleguae claimed that it wasn't his fault. so now what, they say this so they are right la?! why shouldn't I be the right one? one of them even asked me to check my wallet, "just in case". nonsense lar these pple, their number 1 condition states so clearly that in order to exchange for a pass, we have to give them our ICs, no more no less. (not even passports can!)

hello, obviously i got the pass, so guess who got my IC?

I already have a bad impression of the airport police, seriously, they have at least 2-3 guys to man a counter with a computer, a telephone and some passes (tag holders) and yet they cannot even handle this situation properly.

after standing infront of the counter for 30 Minutes they invited me to take a seat, then managed to find my IC in one of the cubicles, obviously NOT drawer A as they claimed earlier. hmph, the meanest of them all didn't even apologise :(

asked mum how to write in to forum, she had a good laugh abt my fight-back with them abt their rule abt exchanging IC for pass. their own rules also dun understand, want to tell others to obey, bullshit. seems like my dad is the pro in writing in to forums sia, amazing right? (he just needs some help in editing haha) i think i'll ask him when I have enough sleep and overcome that 50 minute trauma.

oohohohohohoh!!!! i'm going to bangkok on 15june to 18june again!!!! hahaa.. yes AGAIN must be emphasised but this time its with the whole family, which means i'm sure to go even MadDER shopping and shopping and shopping! (since the money supply is not exactly limited this time - walking atms oops)

oh by the way, mad shopping runs in our blood, wait til u see my mum shop haha. :)
