after the one-day stint at Haig Girls' Primary, I still want to work towards a career in teaching. it's not only about the good pay and short working hours (7am-1pm) but I just enjoy being in a class, whether it is to teach or to babysit, whichever they call it.
I've been thinking, if I stay in Haig Girls' it'll be for quite a period of time, thus allowing me to gain the experience that I require in order to qualify for the BA course in SIM that I wanted all along. it's a bonus that the colleagues there are nice and helpful, time passes quickly and it can be a platform for me to reach out to more girls. anyway, yin ping and yan fang were really helpful today since it was my first day in their school - they were entertaining me with their stories of their first-days-in-school and how she was a crybaby blah blah...
the only hiccups: bus 33 was late (we waited for 30 minutes and ended up taking bus 16 which meant that we had to walk extra distance); my application of 2 months old encountered problems (i dunno if it's just the system or MOE just against me, urgh, even my application to NIE always has super delayed replies. direct calls to them don't help much either, pui) which means my pay will have to be delayed.
It seems like the choosing of my career path is a testing of my faith. despite all the horrible hiccups and disappointments so far, I still believe wholeheartedly that God has pathed out the way which I wanted all along. feels like there's been a battle going on, Haig Girls' replied only on my third attempt and the application with MOE is still going through some system checks.
ah, anyway, just trust in Him. I just know everything will turn out just the way it was planned to be.
right, time to go back to work :)
