MUAR was an excellent weekend getaway. to meet God in such a special way and to really have a good good rest (own time own target for everything! yeehar:>) I went to MUAR expecting to stay up late for meetings with pastor over some agenda or something but when we got there God planned everything. everything was to be own-time-own-target.. it was purely to be a prayer encounter.
really thank God:) i went there with a rather heavy heart (problems larr)and thinking abt the "meetings" made me feel so tired on the bus ride to muar.
BUT yes, God is so good. on our first night we had worship and I just poured it all out to Him, and the simple worship we had was so beautiful, really special and personal; we sang our hearts out with no restrain or any worldly worries. After all, our worship is for Him and Him alone, Amen!
then the 2nd night, pastor told us to read Lamentations 3, which was the exact word I was waiting for, from the Lord. it really spoke right to me and again, I was so amazed.
vs22: The unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By His mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. vs23: Great if His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day. vs24: I say to myself,"The Lord is my inheritance, therefore, I will hope in Him!"
and Viv's sharing of the word from Psalms 34 further confirmed the previous word.
really thank Him and Him alone:)
and Yes, the plucking of the rambutan was so fun. haha, must experience it yourself. plus the fig we ate, so fresh and interesting. hope we can go down again b4 it is closed down, want to see if Pastor's tomato plant makes it good.
