okok, Chris says her hair is turning white waiting for my updates, so hopefully this will undo some damage :)

into my 6th lesson now, learning how to form sentences with words learnt, and all that location particles, object particles and final verb endings are giving me a headache. i guess practice really makes perfect. all the xi zhi is bringing me back to O level chinese days as well, but I'm enjoying it! haha, yes i'm a freak larr ok.

and today samm wore new shoes from ice lemon tee for $5! so cute:) so i went with winnie to marina square and bought 3 pairs for myself! only 2 for $10.95!! haha, winnie also bought herself a pair of blue heels, so pretty!!

ok another eye candy picture: me, syl and my cute lil cousin (he's grown up though, sobs.. so fast u know, he was such a cute little boy years back-coming back to S'pore from Perth next year to complete his NS, shall bring him to church one day to show off. erm yupps. haha)

now now, let's have pictures of PEOPLE now!

but before that, we have stories of some people doing funny things. JEAN, see what your good cousin did...never grew up at all haha.

there was a swing tied to THIS coconut tree, which our instructor George kept telling us to keep away from. reason being, apparently it was the season for coconuts to be released from their branches and there's a high risk of us getting hit. BUT OF COURSE, the little kids in us just would not listen...(good thing no one got hit larr)

i think the mask makes my eyes look huge underwater. joyce told me that she got a scare when she saw me staring at her haha.

after a 4 hours rollercoaster bus ride to Mersing and another 4 hours ferry to Pulau Dayang, I am sure that I won't get motion/sea sickness! in fact i quite like the rocky kind of feeling, helps me sleep more confortably too! (yes, i see that "you're a freak" look on your face right now. been having lots of that from yenn)

anyway, we reached the island at 5am and slept til 8am the next day before going for our FIRST dive at Pulau Lang (near Pulau Dayang).it was seriously the scariest moment of my life! cos I couldn't descend even though I went in and out of the waters a few times, maybe the first time I was breathing so hard that I couldn't calm myself down. plus all the stupid mask clearing and other skills we had to do. anyway, there was quite alot of ground for us to stand and "perform" our skills. we even had white strings to hold on to just in case we drifted away..

when we're underwater, we see lots of fish, corals, my instructor says lots of milo/horlicks in the making (cos of the divers' fins that are stirring the ground) and also see lots of other divers. dots, the instructor super lame.

anyway, i got rid of my FIRST time and the next 4 dives were so enjoyable:) I loved the 2nd last dive site known as Rayners Rock at Pulau Dayang! a pity my film was exposed so only 10 out of 26 photos came out. but oh well, thank God they had a photographer to take these nice pictures for us:)

ONE way to avoid getting stung by jellyfish (although they look pretty harmless underwater, pretty in fact!)...one way is to take your respirator and squirt air at it. Joyce's bf, Ma, did that and it turned out quite funny.

also, after every dive we go back to the island for food and short rest. once, the motor boats which were used to fetch us back to the island from the ferry took so long to arrive, that a bunch of us decided to snorkel our way back. the view below is stunningly beautiful, corals and fishes (duh) but they were so shallow that we accidentally broke some (ouch).

anyway, here's some pictures of the island itself. amazing!

inside these houses are bunks where we sleep. the moment we arrived, jenny told me that there was no need for footwear since it's all sand and water anyway:) and see~ the water is REALLY that clear, no photoshop at all:) if u look close enough u may spot corals below. haha

hey i'm back! with new friends, a nice tan, a blocked right ear - please talk to me on my left.

the dives were great, will tell stories and upload pictures soon :)

My first dive site was nice but super scary: choking cos too excited, then couldn't ascend properly... i almost gave up :(

but anyway, i survived! no seasickness thank God, and i think i like the rocking of the boat (yes, i'm mad - God knows how many "you're a freak" look yenn gave me)

anyway, back to work tmr, updates again!

I'm an OPEN WATER DIVER!haha

yippee tmr's my holiday to enjoy. yes, it's yours too! remember you r young at heart, if not you're at the wrong blog cos i dun have old friends eh.

after a long week in preparation for the dance performance for children's day, I am going to enjoy my well-deserved holiday to the max. oh, oh! I realised that I could actually dance leh! haha, ok...not exactly my favourite thing to do, plus i cannot remember the steps well BUT since I helped to choreograph the hiphop dance, and SINCE all of the girls keep saying I did great.. then, it is official! Pam is a great dancer, on top of her other talents! (another thing to add to my resume, haha)

ok sorry that's lame.

anyway, brought 3 little friends from school to the carnival today. Rachel (pastor seng lee's daughter) joined us too and we had a great time, even for me! (although I was pretty much CHILD-sitting) :) a pity I had to give service a miss, wonder how was the Paradise band hor.

OK last of all, gotta do lots of ?? for my ??(Hangeul) - there's a test next week!my first one!

by the way, Miss Pamelia in korean is this:?????, say: Pah-meh-lee-ya shi

shi is Miss larr. yes,ready 1,2,3 -> laugh...

initially I kay-kiang (act clever), then wanted to find out what's Pam Soh in korean hangeul
it's (??)

BUT! in korean, ? means ox! (cow)

so, yupp, i guess ???? will stick around for now :)
