orientation was silly, quite a waste of time if u honestly asked me. the theme was that we were stuck in tv world and had to surf through different channels to find our way out. the different channels were game stations. sigh, and the council pple kept laughing over some internal jokes, which really was irritating cos we didn't see how funny it could be. so, the point is, dun join council. tsk still ask us to join the ''most happening'' group. bah!

however, the fun part was when we won the fashion drag where we choose a girl and a guy from our group, then they dress up as the opposite sex. goodness, we won hands down!crude and quite disgusting...BUT WELL... starbucks vouchers which will be used for our next orientation outing. yippee! and some bash ticket at st james on 25 august. all included in our orientation fee of $17. quite ok i should say. thank God the lunch was great too! alright, besides that, i think it was worth coming, otherwise i wouldn't have made a few friends that would help when it's time to form project groups. and one guy was from tp bit 22 years old, his birthday is 7th may! so close to mine, i found that little bit of info interesting, and he is quite nice to talk to. at least i found a friend through that too! oh well, i think i should learn to talk more talkable stuff. i'm getting quite boring and the pple are not all that exciting as well but that's ok, things will be fine somehow haha.

for now, thinking of what cca to join. not really into committing but when anyone asked me what i was going to join, i said to join ALL that interests me, and then try out for a month or 2 before quitting all and stick with 1 or 2. haha, here goes the list: seasports, ODAC, christian fellowship, singing, dance, bowling, pool, dive club etc... well, singing is out after i heard the pple sing. they can sing OK, but they dun look like what i hear. not being mean but really, there is no balance between singing and looks, not very presentable as a cca leh. worse, some guy ruined some songs while on stage, the whole of SIM must have heard them cos i saw everyone cringe at the same time he tried to hit that high note. sigh, looks like he needs to go to Lee Wei Song himself instead of some other instructor.

lessons start next thursday, shall start getting my 2nd hand books soon. half price leh! haha, anw use for 1 sem only eh. everyone's going to korea! i want clothes and kimchi. thank u:)
