yes yes i promised there'll be a housewarming for sure! be prepared for bbq and swimming party. the whole place looks as if it's a water park. haha, anyway, yes i would love to explore the great food in hougang, or so many of the Hougang-ers claim. mickey! we can make yeow yeow come over. *evil wink* and of cos, i forgot feli's moving to hougang too! or did she even tell me? haha, thought she was moving to Yishun or something...hai. nvm steph, there's a bus service from your good ole tampines to hougang! and i realised hougang isn't any nearer to clementi but...oh well, hougang mall better make up for whatever la.

and so, it's really time to get started on packing! i have to find old boxes to put my stuff and throw away/give away lots. PS if anyone has big nice cardboard boxes give/lend me pls? I really need proper boxes for packing, not those used to sleep on the streets ok.

anyway, will be starting driving lessons soon. finding the best and cheapest instructor and nope, i DO NOT have the funds but will be borrowing from my mum lar. my attempt to convince her to pay for lessons went like this:

me: ma, can u pay for my driving lessons?
mum: no no, you want you pay.
me: but i'm not working leh, anyway this is necessary. next time u'll def need me to drive u around.
mum: i can drive what.
me: ya, that was yons ago and your license expired years ago TOO. even if u get refreshers also cmi (cannot make it).
mum: who says so.
me: really what, last time u drive we all could see. the moment u're in driver's seat u start getting gan chiong and all lor. u drive i also scared. i drive safer la.
mum: *silence* *ignores me*

can i say my mum's TERSE? tsk

dots. then next evening after i'm back late, she calls me to her room saying,"Pam, don't get angry if I don't pay for your driving lessons. You must feel responsible for yourself." Sure, I paid for my korean lessonsright? wait one day I disappear to Korea then... me:"ya i know what, who's paying for my korean classes?" mum:"good! u can borrow money though. ZERO % interest"

pro right? she won't pay but she'll lend. and telling me not to get angry. i wanted to laugh man. i must have perfected the bo-chap sian look that she thought i was unsatisfied.,well, the fact i asked her for Help and not getting any, the natural response would be to think to myself "sian" and obviously give the sian look right? then backlash at her meh? siao. waste of energy and i wouldn't want to start any substitute of world war. syl laughed when she heard that.

haha oh well, hopefully start in august, i would really love to start driving:) i'm sure i'll get the GOOD genes from my dad and be a heck of a driver. hm..wish me luck, or rather, the road users.
