man, this is exciting. i've been fretting over what dresses to wear for mad's wedding - one for church wedding and another for the dinner. oh well, picture/photos will be up tmr hopefully!
lately ive been busy with airport work, MR project, HMT project and econs test. sure i feel tired but coffee has helped and somehow, i still get the strength to sustain me:) of course, i need to keep praying for energy to keep me going!
and just last night i was rushing the Korean essay for the speech contest - the due date is 22 September 2007 and i was still procrastinating until the very last minute! i hope miss chi amends it by tonight so that i can hand it up in time.....otherwise i guess i'll just hand up the raw copy on its own. but i had online translator to help me too! also, while doing the essay i was chatting to one of my classmates. from our conversation i realised that i need to be more sensitive about people to people relations - as in, 5 of us sit at the table during class but we are usually required to work in pairs. so, i happen to sit in the centre of the table, so i'm the odd one out. and since i came into the class with jean, i do discussions and readings with jean and aileen. little did i realise that sj and bel feel left out most of the time - i was afraid of intruding into their group that's y i didn't ever take initiatives to discuss with them korean stuff we learn in class! from now on. i'm going to talk more with sj and bel in class. i dunno if jean and aileen can feel or understand this, but all these has somehow made sj and bel feel like they are the slow ones in class lagging behind. and though its true that we r better in the language than they are, it's not nice to make them feel so strongly that way! i mean, they're our friends and we are a whole group. although sj is quite temperamental, she always shows her concern and is ready to help the best way she can. she bought snowskin mooncakes from raffles hotel and offered us some! she is generous and concerned about her friends - i do appreciate all these so...I AM going to be more helpful and sensitive during korean class from now on. although i'm really blur in class all the time - ps: the rest like aileen jean and sj seem to know more than i do during class haha.
hmm.. airport job is getting fun! i'm sorry to say I used Melisa, my darling partner, to find out abt the cute sunglass hut guy. haha, i'm sorry darling! but thanks anyway, it was great fun laughing - my cheeks still hurt from all that laughing. oh yes, and so his name is ah kim and he lives in toa payoh. haha i dunno how i got that info but my new friend from the IT and electronics store got that little bit of information - amazing lar.
